As a Teacher Trainer, Instructional Designer, and Media Mentor for Reel Grrls, Marisa has:

* Trained and mentored teachers for a three year National Science Foundation grant.

* Written and designed a film journal for girls.

* Acted as project manager and lead artist on a two year grant for Seattle Public Utilities Environmental Justice Network in Action Program.

* Taught multiple video production, animation and installation classes to youth and teachers.
